
Universitas Bengkulu dan Lapas Perempuan Kelas Iib Bengkulu Jalin Kerja Sama, Dukung Program Pembinaan dan Anti-Stigma Masyarakat
Bengkulu, November 2025 – Bengkulu University (UNIB) and the Bengkulu Class IIB Women’s Correctional Facility officially signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) as a form of synergy in the fields of education, research, and community service. The signing was held in conjunction with the Closing of Correctional Rehabilitation and Launching of PRIMA (Community and Family Anti-Stigma Campaign Program), which took place at the Bengkulu Class IIB Women’s Correctional Institution on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Bengkulu, Prof. Dr. Sal Prima Yudha, S.Si., M.Si, the Head of the Class IIB Women’s Correctional Facility in Bengkulu, structural officials of the facility, lecturers, and invited guests from related institutions.
The event continued with the signing of a cooperation agreement between Bengkulu University and the Bengkulu Class IIB Women’s Prison, covering the fields of education, training, research, and community service, particularly in the empowerment of female inmates. In addition to the signing of the cooperation agreement, the event also included the closing of the rehabilitation program.
The event concluded with a photo session and a social gathering between representatives from Bengkulu University, prison staff, and inmates who had completed the rehabilitation program.
