She is one of the researchers at the Applied Zoology Research Center, especially the Bird Research Group. The use of molecular markers with mitochondrial DNA can be used for the identification of protected species and offers greater opportunities for conservation biology. Information about the genetic diversity of wildlife is needed to ascertain which populations are experiencing genetic damage, so that better management plans can be made for their conservation. Accurate classification of these threatened species allows an understanding of the biology of the species and the identification of distinct populations that must be managed carefully.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/science.unib.ac.id\/mspb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2024\/01\/15.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-137643\" src=\"https:\/\/science.unib.ac.id\/mspb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2024\/01\/15-300x129.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"837\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/science.unib.ac.id\/mspb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2024\/01\/15-300x129.png 300w, https:\/\/science.unib.ac.id\/mspb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2024\/01\/15-1024x441.png 1024w, https:\/\/science.unib.ac.id\/mspb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2024\/01\/15-768x330.png 768w, https:\/\/science.unib.ac.id\/mspb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2024\/01\/15-255x110.png 255w, https:\/\/science.unib.ac.id\/mspb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2024\/01\/15-407x175.png 407w, https:\/\/science.unib.ac.id\/mspb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2024\/01\/15.png 1032w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 837px) 100vw, 837px\" \/><\/a>Molecular markers with mitochondrial DNA are a versatile tool to identify populations experiencing genetic crisis by comparing genetic diversity that can help resolve taxonomic uncertainty and establish management units within species. Genetic marker analysis with mitochondrial DNA also provides a sensitive and useful tool to prevent illegal hunting and more effectively implement endangered species protection laws.
