Biology Department, FMIPA UNIB invited a special guest lecturer, Dr. Berry Juliandi, S.Si., M.Si, as the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, IPB University. Dr. Berry M.Si shared his knowledge and experiences at our general lecture event that held on Friday 17th<\/sup> November 2023 which was located in the main meeting room of the Integrated Services Building (Gedung Layanan Terpadu, UNIB) with the lecture theme “Track Record of the Research Findings and How to Make the International Networking of Biology Collaborations”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This event consists of two agendas, the first agenda is about Networking and the steps how \u00a0to establish international collaboration of Biology. The next agenda is discussed about the Stem cells and their application in the health sectors by using paralyzed mice that are treated by stem cell or genetically engineered stem cells as a method to repair and regenerate damaged cells and speed up healing and treatment of paralysis. This lecture was opened by the Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Jarulis, M.Si and attended by Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Prof .Dr. M. Lutfi Firdaus s.Si, M.T, Vice Dean of Academic affairs of FMIPA, Prof. Ashar Muda Lubis M.Sc, Ph.D, Vice Dean of\u00a0 Resources Affairs, Dr. Eng. M. Asdim M.Si,\u00a0 Lecturers staff \u00a0and students of \u00a0Biology Department, FMIPA UNIB.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>At the same time, the Memorandum of Agreement\/ Perjanjian Kerjsama (MoA\/PKS) and Implemetation Agreement (IA) contract were also signed between the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Bengkulu and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, IPB University. The signing of the MoA and IA contract was carried out by Dr. Jarulis, M.Si as Dean of FMIPA, University of Bengkulu and Dr. Berry Juliandi, S.Si., M.Si as the Dean of FMIPA, IPB University. We hope by the signing of this MOA and IA will strengthen collaboration between Faculties and increase the research collaboration between lecturers and students; collaborative writing of research publications; collaboration in supervising student undergraduate thesis and graduate thesis, exchanging information and academic reference data; as well as community service and student activities.<\/p>\n
