GENERAL LECTURE "ASSESSING THE POTENTIAL OF ASIAN OPENBILL STORK ( Anastomus oscitanus ) IN CONTROLLING APPLE SNAILS ( Pomacea sp.) POPULATION"

The Biology Undergraduate Study Program, FMIPA UNIB, held a public lecture by presenting the best resource person, namely Prof. Dr. Rosli bin Ramli, a Professor at the Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Malaya, Malaysia. This public lecture will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at the UNIB Integrated Service Building. With the aim of increasing insight in developing the ability to apply the knowledge gained both for oneself and in applying it in society.
This public lecture carries the theme ” Assessing The Potential Of Asian Openbill Stork ( Anastomus Oscitanus ) In Controlling Apple Snails ( Pomacea Sp.) Population “. He shared case studies highlighting the success of pest control by using the presence of these birds.
