Halal Bihalal of Biology Department 2025: Keeping in Touch and Sending Prayers

The Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Bengkulu University held a Halal Bihalal 1446 H / 2025 M event as a form of gratitude and an effort to strengthen the relationship between the academic community. This activity was held on Thursday (April 10, 2025), located in the office room of the Department of Biology, and was attended by all lecturers and laboratory staff of the Department of Biology.

The event also invited faculty leaders, namely the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Deputy Dean for Finance, and Deputy Dean for Resources. The presence of faculty leaders added to the warmth and solemnity of the event, which became an important momentum to forgive each other and strengthen the spirit of togetherness after undergoing worship in the month of Ramadan.

The event began with a warm welcome from the Head of the Biology Department, Dr. Sipriyadi, S.Si., M.Si, who invited all attendees to make the Halal Bihalal moment a means of strengthening friendship and strengthening the spirit of togetherness in the academic environment. In his remarks, he also expressed his gratitude for the presence of faculty leaders who had taken the time to be present together in the middle of the big family of the Biology Department.

The atmosphere of togetherness was more pronounced with a friendly session and shaking hands with each other, accompanied by a close family atmosphere and full of laughter. The event was also filled with lunch together which had been provided by the Biology Department.

In the midst of the serene atmosphere, all participants also jointly sent prayers for the late father of Mrs. Vestia Y. Atmaja, (Ir. Agustur Wahyuning Atmojo) who had passed away one day before Eid al-Fitr. The prayer was led by Mr. H. Azwar, with the hope that the deceased will get the best place by His side, and the family left behind will be given fortitude and strength.

This Halal Bihalal activity is a reminder of the importance of family values, empathy, and togetherness that continues to be maintained within the Biology Department. Hopefully this moment will be a good start to strengthen collaboration and work enthusiasm in the new year.
