
The 1st BASISTORA to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Bengkulu

In order to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Bengkulu (UNIB), Indonesia, FMIPA UNIB is delighted to announce the upcoming event of the 1st Basic and Applied Sciences International Symposium of Tropical and Coastal Research (BASISTORA) 2024. By Theme “From the local resources to the world” .
The 1st BASISTORA provides a forum for fellow scientists; mathematicians, physicists, chemists, biologists, health practitioners, geoscientists, undergraduate, fresh graduate, and graduate students. The 1st BASISTORA will be held by Hybrid: Offline in University of Bengkulu, Bengkulu, Indonesia and Online by Zoom Platform.
This activity was opened by the dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sal Prima Yudha. S.Si., M.Si and chairmen by Dr. Risky Hadi Wibowo as head of the Biology Masters study program.
Honorable speakers and Keynote speaker: Prof. Mamoru Koketsu Ph.D (Gifu University, Japan), Prof. Li LinLin (Sun Yat Sen University, China), Prof Mohzin Kazi (King Saud University, Saudi Arabia), Prof. Madya Muskhazli Bin Mustafa (Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia), Assoc. Prof. Warlonso A Shimray (Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research, India) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Salameh Sedaghat (Buen Zahra Technical University, Republic of Iran).. The participants came from various universities and research institutes from 4 different countries, namely Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia. There are 142 paper abstracts that will be presented (offline and virtual presentation) ranging from Biology, Biomedicine and Biotechnology, Physics, Applied Physics and Geophysics, Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, and Health Sciences. All the paper abstracts are presented in this Abstract Book.
Basistora as a regular 2-year event, and to serve as a scientific forum for both our faculty members and those from other institutions involved in mathematics and natural sciences.
