The Bachelor of Pharmacy Program at the University of Bengkulu (UNIB) successfully conducted a site visit assessment as part of the accreditation process by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes) from April 21 to 23, 2025. The assessment was carried out by two appointed assessors: Prof. Dr. Yahdiana Harahap, MS., Apt. from the Pertahanan University and Dr. Apt. Syofyan, S.Si from Andalas University.

This site visit assessment serves as a critical phase in evaluating the academic quality and institutional governance of the program. Over the three-day visit, the assessors engaged in a comprehensive verification of the accreditation documents, conducted interviews with university and faculty leaders, lecturers, students, administrative staff, alumni, and external stakeholders.

In his opening remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at UNIB expressed that the assessment is a pivotal moment for reflection and continuous improvement. “We hope that the outcome of this assessment will contribute meaningfully to enhancing the academic and educational services quality in our program,” he stated.

The results of this site visit will serve as a reference in determining the accreditation status of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Program at UNIB. It is expected that this process will further motivate the academic community to continuously strive for excellence in education, research, and community engagement.
