Coordinator of the Undergraduate Statistics Program at Universitas Bengkulu Attends FGD on Bengkulu City in Figures 2026 and PST Service Standards of BPS Bengkulu City/ Koordinator Prodi S1 Statistika UNIB Hadiri FGD Kota Bengkulu Dalam Angka 2026 dan Standar Pelayanan PST BPS Kota Bengkulu

Bengkulu, February 20, 2026 – The Coordinator of the Undergraduate (S1) Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Bengkulu, attended a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Bengkulu City in Figures 2026 and the Service Standards of Integrated Statistical Services (PST) organized by Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Bengkulu City. The event was held on Friday, February 20, 2026, in the Technical Room, 2nd Floor, BPS Bengkulu City Office.

The FGD was conducted as part of the implementation of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics, particularly regarding the compilation of administrative data products, as well as Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services. The forum aimed to gather input from stakeholders to improve the Bengkulu City in Figures 2026 publication and to enhance the quality of public service standards at the Integrated Statistical Services (PST) of BPS Bengkulu City.

During the event, the Coordinator represented the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Bengkulu, alongside representatives from various local government agencies, vertical institutions, state-owned and regionally owned enterprises (SOEs/ROEs), community organizations, media representatives, and internal officials of BPS Bengkulu City. The presence of academic representatives was expected to provide scientific perspectives and constructive feedback regarding data quality and the presentation of statistical information in regional publications.

The FGD agenda included a discussion of the main tables for the Bengkulu City in Figures 2026 publication, dissemination of the 2025 Data Needs Survey (SKD) results, and a review of the PST Service Standards of BPS Bengkulu City. The activity continued with an interactive discussion session and the signing of the official minutes as a form of joint agreement and commitment to improving the quality of statistical services.

The participation of the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Statistics Program at Universitas Bengkulu reflects the program’s commitment to strengthening sectoral statistics, improving the quality of regional data, and supporting transparent and accountable public services. The event also served as a strategic platform to enhance synergy between academia and BPS in promoting data-driven development in Bengkulu City.

Bengkulu, 20 Februari 2026 – Koordinator Program Studi S1 Statistika Fakultas MIPA Universitas Bengkulu menghadiri kegiatan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Kota Bengkulu Dalam Angka 2026 dan Standar Pelayanan Pelayanan Statistik Terpadu (PST) BPS Kota Bengkulu yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Bengkulu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Jumat, 20 Februari 2026, bertempat di Ruang Teknis Lantai 2 BPS Kota Bengkulu.

Kegiatan FGD ini diselenggarakan sebagai bentuk implementasi Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 1997 tentang Statistik, khususnya terkait kompilasi produk administrasi, serta Undang-Undang Nomor 25 Tahun 2009 tentang Pelayanan Publik. Forum ini bertujuan untuk menghimpun masukan dari para pemangku kepentingan dalam rangka penyempurnaan publikasi Kota Bengkulu Dalam Angka 2026 serta peningkatan kualitas standar pelayanan publik pada Pelayanan Statistik Terpadu (PST) BPS Kota Bengkulu.

Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Koordinator Prodi S1 Statistika UNIB hadir sebagai perwakilan dari FMIPA Universitas Bengkulu, bersama dengan berbagai instansi pemerintah daerah, lembaga vertikal, BUMN/BUMD, organisasi masyarakat, media, serta unsur internal BPS Kota Bengkulu. Kehadiran unsur akademisi diharapkan dapat memberikan perspektif ilmiah dan masukan konstruktif terkait kualitas data statistik dan penyajian informasi dalam publikasi daerah.

Agenda FGD meliputi pembahasan tabel pokok publikasi Kota Bengkulu Dalam Angka 2026, sosialisasi hasil Survei Kebutuhan Data (SKD) Tahun 2025, serta pembahasan Standar Pelayanan PST BPS Kota Bengkulu. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan sesi diskusi interaktif dan penandatanganan berita acara sebagai bentuk kesepakatan dan komitmen bersama dalam peningkatan kualitas layanan statistik.

Partisipasi Koordinator Program Studi S1 Statistika Universitas Bengkulu dalam kegiatan ini mencerminkan komitmen prodi dalam mendukung penguatan statistik sektoral, peningkatan kualitas data daerah, serta implementasi pelayanan publik yang transparan dan akuntabel. Kegiatan ini juga menjadi wadah strategis untuk memperkuat sinergi antara dunia akademik dan BPS dalam mendukung pembangunan berbasis data di Kota Bengkulu.
