Coordinator of the Undergraduate Statistics Program at Universitas Bengkulu Attends Public Consultation Forum on Public Service Standards and Sectoral Statistics Development Held by BPS Bengkulu Province/ Koordinator Prodi S1 Statistika UNIB Hadiri Forum Konsultasi Publik Standar Pelayanan Publik dan Pembinaan Statistik Sektoral BPS Provinsi Bengkulu

Bengkulu, February 10, 2026-The Coordinator of the Undergraduate (S1) Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Bengkulu, attended the Public Consultation Forum (FKP) on Public Service Standards and Sectoral Statistics Development organized by Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Bengkulu Province. The event was held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Bunga Kibut Hall, BPS Bengkulu Province.

The Public Consultation Forum was conducted as an implementation of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics, Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services, and Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 on One Data Indonesia. The forum aimed to gather input from stakeholders regarding public service standards and to strengthen sectoral statistics development in Bengkulu Province.

During the event, the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Statistics Program represented the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Bengkulu, alongside various institutions and stakeholders, including representatives of regional government agencies, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative Office of Bengkulu Province, media representatives, and statistical practitioners. The participation of the Undergraduate Statistics Program reflects the university’s commitment to supporting high-quality and sustainable statistical governance.

The agenda included a presentation reviewing the Public Service Standards of Integrated Statistical Services (PST) and a presentation on the Statistical Data Standards (SDS), followed by a discussion session and the signing of the official report. Through this forum, participants were given the opportunity to provide feedback, suggestions, and perspectives to improve public service standards and strengthen the implementation of sectoral statistics.

The participation of the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Statistics Program at Universitas Bengkulu in this forum is expected to enhance synergy between academia and BPS, particularly in the development of statistical literacy, sectoral statistics development, and the implementation of the One Data Indonesia policy at the regional level. Furthermore, the forum serves as a strategic platform to ensure that public service standards in the field of statistics become increasingly transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of data users.

Bengkulu, 10 Februari 2026-Koordinator Program Studi S1 Statistika Fakultas MIPA Universitas Bengkulu menghadiri kegiatan Forum Konsultasi Publik (FKP) Standar Pelayanan Publik dan Pembinaan Statistik Sektoral yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Bengkulu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Selasa, 10 Februari 2026, bertempat di Aula Bunga Kibut BPS Provinsi Bengkulu.

Forum Konsultasi Publik ini diselenggarakan sebagai bentuk implementasi Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 1997 tentang Statistik, Undang-Undang Nomor 25 Tahun 2009 tentang Pelayanan Publik, serta Peraturan Presiden Nomor 39 Tahun 2019 tentang Satu Data Indonesia. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menghimpun masukan dari para pemangku kepentingan terkait standar pelayanan publik serta penguatan pembinaan statistik sektoral di Provinsi Bengkulu.

Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Koordinator Prodi S1 Statistika UNIB turut berpartisipasi sebagai perwakilan dari FMIPA Universitas Bengkulu, bersama dengan berbagai instansi dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya, antara lain perwakilan perangkat daerah, Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Perwakilan Provinsi Bengkulu, media, serta praktisi statistik. Kehadiran Prodi S1 Statistika mencerminkan komitmen perguruan tinggi dalam mendukung tata kelola statistik yang berkualitas dan berkelanjutan.

Agenda kegiatan meliputi paparan review standar pelayanan publik Pelayanan Statistik Terpadu (PST) serta paparan Standar Data Statistik (SDS), yang dilanjutkan dengan sesi diskusi dan penandatanganan berita acara. Melalui forum ini, peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk menyampaikan masukan, saran, dan pandangan guna penyempurnaan standar pelayanan publik dan penguatan penyelenggaraan statistik sektoral.

Keikutsertaan Koordinator Prodi S1 Statistika Universitas Bengkulu dalam kegiatan FKP ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat sinergi antara dunia akademik dan BPS, khususnya dalam pengembangan literasi statistik, pembinaan statistik sektoral, serta implementasi Satu Data Indonesia di tingkat daerah. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menjadi wadah strategis untuk memastikan bahwa standar pelayanan publik di bidang statistik semakin transparan, akuntabel, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna data.
