“Sahabat Sensus” of the Population Cencus

About 100 students and 20 lecturers from the Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Bengkulu confirmed as “Sahabat Sensus”. On Thursday, March 12, 2020 were inaugurated “Sahabat Sensus” at the Coordination Meeting on Campus (Rakorpus). “Sahabat Sensus” are tasked with conducting outreach to make the 2020 Population Census Online successful, including against hoaxes about the 2020 Population Census circulating on the internet. “Sahabat Sensus” is a form of Higher Education involvement from students and lecturers, especially in an effort to increase the response rate of population census online.
In the event which was attended by head of BPS Bengkulu Province and staff, Dean of Mathematics and Natural science Faculty, Mass Media and other stakeholder invitees, the 2020 Population Census Support Commitment was signed from the University of Bengkulu and “Sahabat Sensus” , both from lecturers and students.
