THE UNDERGRADUATE STATISTICS PROGRAM OF UNIVERSITAS BENGKULU PARTICIPATES IN FGD ON PUBLIC SERVICE STANDARDS AND SECTORAL STATISTICS DEVELOPMENT AT BPS BENGKULU PROVINCE
Bengkulu, February 13, 2025 – The Undergraduate Statistics Program of Universitas Bengkulu, representing the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, participated in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Public Service Standards and Sectoral Statistics Development, organized by the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of Bengkulu Province. The event was held at the Bunga Kibut Hall of BPS Bengkulu Province and was attended by various stakeholders from government agencies, academia, and the media.
The event was officially opened by the Head of BPS Bengkulu Province, Mr. Ir. Win Rizal, M.E., who, in his opening remarks, emphasized the importance of enhancing public service standards and fostering collaboration between BPS and various institutions in sectoral statistics development. The FGD was attended by representatives from various organizations, including the Bengkulu Representative Office of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, Bapperida of Bengkulu Province, the Bengkulu Provincial Office of Communication, Informatics, and Statistics, the Bengkulu Provincial Health Office, the Bengkulu Provincial Office of Food Security, the Bengkulu Provincial Office of Industry and Trade, the Bengkulu Provincial Office of Village Community Empowerment, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Universitas Bengkulu, Media Bengkulu Network, and the Youth of the Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association (ICMI).
This event served as a crucial platform for the Undergraduate Statistics Program of Universitas Bengkulu to establish synergy with various government institutions and other organizations in supporting the advancement and utilization of statistics. By participating in this FGD, the Undergraduate Statistics Program aims to continuously contribute to strengthening statistical literacy in the public sector.
With the successful implementation of this FGD, the Undergraduate Statistics Program of Universitas Bengkulu hopes to continue playing an active role in supporting the enhancement of sectoral statistical capacity in Bengkulu Province and expanding collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve higher-quality public services based on accurate data.
Bengkulu, 13 Februari 2025 – Program Studi S1 Statistika Universitas Bengkulu mewakili Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam turut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Standar Pelayanan Publik dan Pembinaan Statistik Sektoral yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Bengkulu. Acara ini berlangsung di Aula Bunga Kibut BPS Provinsi Bengkulu dan dihadiri oleh berbagai pemangku kepentingan dari sektor pemerintahan, akademisi, serta media.
Kegiatan ini dibuka secara resmi oleh Kepala BPS Provinsi Bengkulu, Bapak Ir. Win Rizal, M.E. yang dalam sambutannya menekankan pentingnya peningkatan standar pelayanan publik serta kolaborasi antara BPS dengan berbagai instansi dalam pembinaan statistik sektoral. FGD ini dihadiri oleh berbagai perwakilan instansi, termasuk Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Bengkulu, Bapperida Provinsi Bengkulu, Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika, dan Statistik Provinsi Bengkulu, Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Bengkulu, Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Bengkulu, Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Bengkulu, Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa Provinsi Bengkulu, Fakultas MIPA Universitas Bengkulu, Media Bengkulu Network, serta Pemuda Ikatan Cendekiawan Muslim Indonesia (ICMI).
Kegiatan ini menjadi wadah yang sangat penting bagi Prodi S1 Statistika Universitas Bengkulu dalam menjalin sinergi dengan berbagai instansi pemerintahan dan lembaga lainnya guna mendukung pengembangan dan pemanfaatan statistik yang lebih baik. Dengan adanya keterlibatan dalam FGD ini, diharapkan Prodi S1 Statistika dapat terus berkontribusi dalam penguatan literasi statistik di sektor publik.
