Undergraduate Statistics Program of Universitas Bengkulu Attends Focus Group Discussion Organized by BPS Kota Bengkulu

The Undergraduate Statistics Program of Universitas Bengkulu, represented by the Program Coordinator, Dr. Pepi Novianti, S.Si., M.Si., attended a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) organized by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Bengkulu City. The event took place in the Technical Room, 2nd Floor, BPS Kota Bengkulu Office, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM until completion.

The FGD covered two main agendas: Focus Group Discussion on Bengkulu City in Figures 2025 and Focus Group Discussion on Public Service Standards. The event was attended by various stakeholders, including the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of Bengkulu City, the Communication and Informatics Office (DISKOMINFO) of Bengkulu City, the Health Office of Bengkulu City, the Revenue, Financial Management, and Regional Asset Office (DPPKA) of Bengkulu City, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bengkulu City, the Food Security and Agriculture Office of Bengkulu City, PT PLN (Persero) Bengkulu City Branch, the Undergraduate Statistics Program of FMIPA UNIB, Aisyiyah Bengkulu Branch, RB Koran, and BPS of Bengkulu Province.

The first session focused on data and statistical indicators to be included in the Bengkulu City in Figures 2025 publication. Meanwhile, the second session addressed public service standards to enhance service quality and information transparency for the community.

The Program Coordinator of the Undergraduate Statistics Program at Universitas Bengkulu expressed appreciation for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to this event. She also emphasized the importance of collaboration between academia and statistical institutions in producing high-quality data as a foundation for well-informed policymaking.

Through this event, it is hoped that the synergy between Universitas Bengkulu and BPS Kota Bengkulu will be further strengthened to support the development of accurate statistical data and improve public service quality for the people of Bengkulu City.

Bengkulu, 25 Februari 2025 – Program Studi S1 Statistika Universitas Bengkulu, yang diwakili oleh Koordinator Prodi, Dr. Pepi Novianti, S.Si., M.Si., menghadiri undangan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Bengkulu. Acara ini berlangsung di Ruang Teknis, Lantai 2, Kantor BPS Kota Bengkulu pada Selasa, 25 Februari 2025, mulai pukul 09.00 WIB hingga selesai.

FGD ini membahas dua agenda utama, yaitu Focus Group Discussion Kota Bengkulu Dalam Angka 2025 dan Focus Group Discussion Standar Pelayanan Publik. Acara ini dihadiri oleh berbagai pemangku kepentingan, termasuk BAPPEDA Kota Bengkulu, DISKOMINFO Kota Bengkulu, Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bengkulu, Dinas Pendapatan, Pengelolaan Keuangan, dan Aset Daerah (DPPKA) Kota Bengkulu, Kementerian Agama Kota Bengkulu, Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian Kota Bengkulu, PT PLN (Persero) Cabang Kota Bengkulu, Program Studi S1 Statistika FMIPA UNIB, Aisyiyah Cabang Bengkulu, RB Koran, serta BPS Provinsi Bengkulu.

Pada sesi pertama, diskusi berfokus pada data dan indikator statistik yang akan dimuat dalam publikasi Kota Bengkulu Dalam Angka 2025. Sementara itu, sesi kedua membahas standar pelayanan publik dengan tujuan meningkatkan kualitas layanan serta transparansi informasi kepada masyarakat.

Koordinator Prodi S1 Statistika Universitas Bengkulu menyampaikan apresiasi atas undangan dan kesempatan untuk berkontribusi dalam kegiatan ini. Beliau juga menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara dunia akademik dan lembaga statistik dalam menghasilkan data berkualitas yang dapat menjadi dasar dalam pengambilan kebijakan yang tepat.

Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan sinergi antara Universitas Bengkulu dan BPS Kota Bengkulu semakin erat dalam mendukung pengembangan data statistik yang akurat serta meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik bagi masyarakat Kota Bengkulu.
