
Chemistry Undergraduate Program of The University of Bengkulu Conducts Internship Student Retrieval from Partner Institutions
Bengkulu, August 8, 2025 – The Undergraduate Chemistry Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Bengkulu officially conducted the retrieval of internship students from several partner institutions on Friday, August 8, 2025. The retrieval was carried out by internship academic supervisors following the completion of the internship period, which took place from June 2 to August 8, 2025.
A total of 54 students from the Chemistry Undergraduate Program successfully completed their internships at various partner institutions, including BPOM Bengkulu, PLTU Bengkulu, DLHK Provinsi Bengkulu, Balai Karantina Hewan Ikan dan tumbuhan, DLH Kota Bengkulu, and PT Sucofindo Bengkulu. Throughout the internship period, students were involved in practical activities related to laboratory analysis, environmental monitoring, quality control, and regulatory services.



The retrieval activity marked the official conclusion of the internship program. Following the completion of the internships, students are required to prepare comprehensive internship reports and present their outcomes in a seminar session. The reports and presentations will be evaluated by both academic supervisors from the Chemistry Undergraduate Program and field supervisors from the respective internship institutions, ensuring an objective and comprehensive assessment of students’ performance and learning outcomes.
Through this final stage, the Chemistry Undergraduate Program aims to measure the achievement of learning outcomes, strengthen students’ analytical and communication skills, and ensure that the internship program contributes effectively to graduate competency development.
