Chemistry Undergraduate Program of Universitas Bengkulu Holds Curriculum Development Sharing and Evaluation with Expert

Bengkulu, July 1, 2025 – The Undergraduate Chemistry Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, The University of Bengkulu, conducted a Curriculum Development Sharing and Evaluation Session with an Expert on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. The activity was held at the FMIPA Meeting Room and attended by lecturers of the Chemistry Undergraduate Program.

The session featured Prof. Dr. Mohamad Rafi, S.Si., M.Si. from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB University) as the invited expert. The event took place from 10:00 to 12:00 WIB and aimed to evaluate and refine the curriculum of the Chemistry Undergraduate Program to ensure its alignment with current developments in science, higher education policies, and labor market demands.

During the sharing session, Prof. Dr. Mohamad Rafi provided valuable insights into the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), the strengthening of Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and the importance of incorporating stakeholder needs into curriculum design. An interactive discussion followed, allowing lecturers to share perspectives, experiences, and challenges related to curriculum implementation.

Through this activity, the Chemistry Undergraduate Program of Universitas Bengkulu expects to continuously improve the quality and relevance of its curriculum, thereby enhancing graduate competitiveness.
