
Undergraduate Chemistry Program of The University of Bengkulu Holds Collaborative General Lecture on Green Super-Absorbents
Bengkulu – The Undergraduate Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, The University of Bengkulu, organized a Collaborative General Lecture entitled “Green Super-Absorbents and Their Applications” on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. The lecture was conducted online via Zoom Meeting from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM WIB and was attended by students and academic staff from various higher education institutions.
The general lecture featured Dr. Salih Muharam, S.Si., M.Si., as the keynote speaker, who delivered an in-depth presentation on the development and applications of green super-absorbent materials, emphasizing their potential as environmentally friendly solutions for diverse scientific and industrial applications. The session was moderated by Avidiyandi, S.Si., M.Si., who facilitated an interactive discussion and question-and-answer session with participants.
This academic activity was organized by the Undergraduate Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, The University of Bengkulu, and supported by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, The University of Bengkulu, Prof. Dr. Sal Prima Yudha S., S.Si., M.Si., as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi, Dr. Euis Kania Kurniawati, MT. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening academic partnerships and promoting sustainable science-based research.
Through this collaborative general lecture, participants gained advanced knowledge related to green super-absorbent materials and their applications, while also broadening their academic perspectives in the fields of green chemistry and sustainable materials. The Undergraduate Chemistry Study Program of The University of Bengkulu remains committed to organizing collaborative academic activities that enhance student competence and strengthen inter-institutional cooperation at the national level.
