Presentation of Independent Research of Geophysics Students

Today is the second day of presentation of the results of the students’ independent research projects. This project began with the formation of student research groups. Each group is guided by one supervisor on determining the research theme/topic. Furthermore, the lecturer guides the writing of scientific articles as the output of the activity. This activity is part of the Merdeka Belajar program and an alternative to develop student competencies. Students can work on independent projects according to their fields of study. The topics of independent research that are worked on include:

• Research relevant to local or global issues.

• Research on disasters.

• Research on the exploration of mineral resources in the Bengkulu region
