First Lecture of Geophysics Study Program

The Coordinator of the Geophysics Study Program, FMIPA, University of Bengkulu, Suhendra, S.Si., M.T. conducted a direct check on the classroom for the first lecture of the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The first lecture starts today, January 20, 2025. The Study Program Coordinator directly observed and monitored student attendance at this first lecture. This activity is part of an effort to evaluate and standardize the implementation of lectures since the first day.

The visit of the Study Program Coordinator began from the Joint Lecture Building 5, namely R10 and R12. Lectures have been held in these two rooms since 08:00 Western Indonesian Time. The Study Program Coordinator witnessed the enthusiasm of students who attended the first day of lectures. This visit continued to the Basic Science Laboratory, Floor II. In the Basic Science Laboratory Building, the enthusiasm of students who attended the first day of lectures was seen. Other students carried out preparations for field lectures and student Independent Research. This independent research was carried out by students in semesters 6 and 8 which is a special MBKM program.

Several students who are preparing for independent research show enthusiasm in starting this semester to immediately complete their final assignments and write articles in various journal levels. On this occasion, students also held discussions and asked for advice from the Geophysics Study Program Coordinator on research topics and data acquisition.
