Lecturers and Students of the Geophysics Study Program as Presenters at the BASISTORA International Seminar

Geophysics lecturers participated in the BASISTORA International Seminar organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Bengkulu (FMIPA UNIB). This International Seminar activity is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of FMIPA UNIB. The committee invited presenters from all over Indonesia to present research results in the fields of Basic and Tropical Science. This 2024 activity is the first BASISTORA event.

In addition to lecturers from all over Indonesia, the committee also held a session for students so that students of the Geophysics Study Program participated as presenters. This activity was carried out in a hybrid manner which was offline at the UNIB Campus on August 29, 2024.

Geophysics lecturers who participated in this activity as presenters were: Prof. Ashar Muda Lubis, Ph.D., Prof. Dr. M. Farid, M.S., Dr. Arif Ismul Hadi, Refrizon, S.Si., M.Si., Suhendra, S.Si., M.T. and Halauddin, S.Si., M.T. In addition, there are also many Geophysics students as speakers and as participants. In this activity, one of the Best Presenters in the Student category is a Geophysics Student Class of 2021, namely Muhammad Afif Nabhan. Hopefully next year more Geophysics students will get the best predicate.
