Alumni

The Bachelor of Mathematics Study Program at the University of Bengkulu has had alumni since 2002. The Mathematics Study Program has hundreds of alumni who have worked in various fields such as academics, researchers, entrepreneurs, government officials, private employees, consultants, and others. Graduates contribute significantly to the advancement of teaching and learning in mathematics study programs, including preparing better graduates. Alumni contributions include the provision of scholarships, internship opportunities, completion of final assignments, information related to vacancies, information for enhancing learning, and various other contributions.

Alumni of the University of Bengkulu Mathematics Study Program are members of a forum called the Mathematics Department Alumni Association (IAJM). The organizational management of IAJM are as follows:

Tracer Study

Tracer study is carried out to improve the implementation of teaching learning in the study program and the presence of alumni. The Tracer study is a survey conducted with the aim of knowing educational outcomes in the form of transitions from higher education to the world of work, work situations, alignment and skills acquired during the lecture course with the needs in the world of work. This document contains a Tracer study in 2021. A tracer study is a survey or study
about graduates. Tracer studies are conducted to get an objective picture of information on
graduate success in charity, status, income, and the intersection between knowledge and skills
and available jobs or jobs. To be able to find out the development of alumni, the tracer study
on mathematics and natural science graduates of Bengkulu University is carried out so that it
can be used as a guide for all study programs to plan the quality of education on an ongoing
basis in each study program. The objectives of the study tracer are:
1. Exploring information from alumni regarding the development of competencies needed
by the job market for curriculum improvement materials.
2. Inventorying the benefits obtained by alumni while studying at the Faculty of
Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Bengkulu University.
3. Conduct a search for the place of work, field of work, waiting time to get a job, first
salary, current job, and other information from alumni of the Faculty of Mathematics and
Natural Sciences, Bengkulu University.
