The appointment of the main and accompanying supervisors, as well as thesis examiners for the Mathematics study program, FMIPA UNIB is regulated in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the appointment of the main and accompanying supervisors, as well as the thesis examiners. This guide was constructed to provide guidance on the mechanism for appointing lecturers as main advisors, companions, and examiners to help complete the thesis of students of the Mathematics Study Program, FMIPA UNIB. This SOP follows the guidelines of the Regulation of the Minister of Empowerment and State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia (Permenpan and RB RI) Numbers 17 and 46 of 2013, the Operational Guidelines for Assessment of Credit Scores of the Director General of Higher Education in 2009 as well as the Academic Guidebook and Calendar of the Bengkulu University. This SOP has seven points of procedure for the appointment of thesis advisory lecturers and 5 points of procedure for the appointment of the thesis examining lecturers (details of the Procedure can be seen in the attached document). Standard Operating Procedure for the Implementation of the Final Project/Thesis/Thesis Examination
The execution of the thesis examination for the Undergraduate Mathematics study program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Bengkulu University is coordinated by the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Execution of the Thesis Examination. The SOP regulates the execution of the examination which is held to determine the ability of students at the end of the lecture before obtaining a Bachelor’s degree (S-1) concerning being responsible for scientific work (thesis) which is the result of research that has been carried out. This SOP also regulates the requirements of students and other related parties. This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the execution of the thesis examination follows the Bengkulu University academic guidelines and the Bengkulu University Rector’s regulation Number 25 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Academic Activities for the University of Bengkulu’s Vocational, Undergraduate, Professional, and Postgraduate Education Programs. The Work Instruction of Thesis Assessment is a guideline that regulates the thesis assessment process carried out by the examiner team of the S-1 Mathematics study program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Bengkulu University (UNIB). Thesis assessment of the S-1 Mathematics study program, FMIPA UNIB follows the Regulation of the Minister of Empowerment and State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia (Permenpan and RB RI) Number 17 and Number 46 of 2013, Regulation of the Rector of Bengkulu University Number 37 of 2016 as well as Academic Guidebooks and Calendars of Bengkulu University. The regulation regulates the procedure for submitting the field work practice (PKL)/practice work (KP) for students of the Mathematics Study Program, FMIPA UNIB. This regulation also contains procedures for submitting PKL/KP in the Mathematics Department, starting from determining the location to the stage of preparing the report.
