Inauguration of Student Organizations within FMIPA, University of Bengkulu: Establishing the New Management

On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at the University of Bengkulu held the inauguration ceremony for Student Organizations (Ormawa) within FMIPA. The solemn event took place in the faculty hall and was attended by various key figures, including the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dr. Sal Prima Yudha S, S.Si., M.Si., who also officiated the inauguration of the new management.
This inauguration marked a significant moment in the journey of student organizations within FMIPA. A total of 19 Himaormawa, including the Student Representative Council (DPM) and the Student Executive Board (BEM), were officially inaugurated in this event. In total, 38 individuals were sworn in and are now ready to carry out their duties and responsibilities for the upcoming management period. With this inauguration, it is hoped that each Ormawa will function effectively in enhancing organizational quality and providing benefits to FMIPA students as a whole.
On this occasion, three representatives from the Mathematics Science Student Association (Himatesa) also took part in the inauguration. They are Taufik Ahmad, Revika Putri Asharia, and Shabrina Kurnia Aznie Putri. As part of the new management team, they are expected to actively contribute to bringing positive changes and strengthening Himatesa’s role within FMIPA at the University of Bengkulu.

This inauguration was not merely a ceremonial event but also a moment of reflection for all newly appointed Ormawa leaders to understand the responsibilities they will undertake. With a clear vision and mission, it is hoped that the Ormawa management will introduce various innovations and beneficial programs for FMIPA students.

The inauguration ceremony proceeded smoothly and with great enthusiasm. The newly inaugurated board members demonstrated their commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to them. The event concluded with a group photo session, serving as both documentation and a symbolic mark of the official commencement of the new Ormawa FMIPA University of Bengkulu leadership.
With renewed spirit, the appointed board members are expected to carry out their responsibilities with dedication, bringing innovation and positive change to their organizations and the academic environment at FMIPA, University of Bengkulu. Through teamwork and dedication, Ormawa FMIPA is anticipated to continue growing and making meaningful contributions to the advancement of the faculty and university.
