The Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Bengkulu University, delegated several lecturers to carry out the initiation of collaboration with the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta. In initiating this collaboration, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, Dr Yudi Ari Adi, has signed a Cooperation Agreement between FAST UAD and FMIPA UNIB. This event will be held on 20th December 2022 at FAST UAD.
From this meeting which was held for approximately one day, several important points were produced which will be the first step in collaboration between FAST UAD, especially the Mathematics study program, and the FMIPA UNIB Mathematics study program.
The first collaboration that will be carried out is cooperation in the field of improving student achievement in both study programs. The plan to implement this collaboration is to hold student exchanges between the two universities. The next collaboration plan is in the field of research and publication. In this collaboration, the discourse on joint journal management was discussed. It is hoped that collaboration in this field can improve the quality of research and publications in both study programs.
