The Bengkulu University Mathematics Study Program carried out a collaborative visit to Gadjah Mada University. The Bengkulu University FMIPA Mathematics study program delegated Mrs. Ramya Rachmawati, Ph.D as Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, FMIPA UNIB, Siska Yosmar, M.Sc as Coordinator of the FMIPA UNIB Mathematics Study Program, and Dr. Jose Rizal, M.Si., Nur Afandi, M.Si., and Septri Damayanti, M.Si. as a lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Bengkulu University to collaborate with the Mathematics Study Program at Gadjah Mada University. This visit was warmly received by the Head of the Mathematics Department, FMIPA UGM, Dr Nanang Susyanto, M.Sc, along with Lecturers in the Mathematics Study Program, FMIPA UGM. This activity was carried out behind closed doors in the UGM FMIPA Mathematics Study Program Meeting Room. The early event will be held on 19th December, 2022.
This visit aims to initiate inter-institutional collaboration in higher education tridharma activities, especially in the field of Mathematics. This visit is the first step in efforts to increase academic collaboration between the two institutions. In this meeting, the UGM FMIPA Mathematics Study Program and the UNIB FMIPA Mathematics Study Program designed various collaborative programs related to the tridharma of higher education, namely education, community service and research. Hopefully this collaboration can continue and become a productive first step in developing science and education in Indonesia.
