The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNIB once again held an academic activity in the form of public lectures to provide enrichment of knowledge and experience to students. This activity took place hybridly at the Gedung Layanan Terpadu Bengkulu University and through a zoom meeting, on 8th December, 2023. The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Irfan Gustian, S.Si., M.Si.
The speaker came from the academics whose a Dean of FSM Diponegoro University, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Widowati, S.Si., M.Si. This public lecture raised the theme of Mathematics, Art, and Technology: Crystallography Motif Design Innovation. This public lecture was welcomed enthusiastically by students because it was moderated directly by one of the Mathematics lecturers Mr. Nur Afandi, S.Si., M.Sc. Through this public lecture, it is hoped that it can provide students with an understanding of mathematics, especially in the field of crystallography, and can also motivate students to study harder and love the field of science they pursue.
