This Pharmacy Study Program has been established at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Bengkulu (UNIB) and is under the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA UNIB. This is supported by several main reasons: (1) The Department of Chemistry is one of the majors under the auspices of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at the University of Bengkulu. The Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Bengkulu was established on October 31, 2005 based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education No.54/Dikti/Kep/2005; (2) Several important resources (Human Resources, Facilities and Infrastructure) owned by the Chemistry Department can be utilized by the Pharmacy Study Program through the concept of resources-sharing; (3) The process of independence of the Pharmacy Study Program has been continuously accompanied by the application of a superior culture by the Chemistry Department which has currently developed 2 study programs (S1 Chemistry Study Program and Chemistry Masters Study Program) along with an increase in the number of human resources in the Pharmacy Study Program and other resources.This superior cultural experience has led the Chemistry Study Program to receive A (Excellent) accreditation from BAN-PT and the approval of the Masters Degree Program in Chemistry to be opened; (4) The establishment of the Pharmacy Study Program (PS) was supported by the support of the Bengkulu University Senate with the issuance of a Senate Support Recommendation with letter number 3568/UN30.2/PG/2017. Furthermore, it has also been proposed by the Chancellor of the University Bengkulu through letter number 3570/UN30/PG/2017 concerning the Proposal to Open a New Study Program at Higher Education
