DISTRIBUTION OF PAMPHLETS"DAGUSIBU"

On Friday, December 6, 2024, a DAGUSIBU pamphlet distribution activity was carried out at the Armina Sakti Pratama Clinic. Pratama Armina Sakti Clinic is a clinic located on Jl. Dharma Wanita, Pematang Governor, Muara Bangka Hulu District, Bengkulu City, Bengkulu 38119. This activity is a social collaboration recognized between lecturers and students of the S1 Pharmacy study program at the University of Bengkulu to provide education around the community in the city of Bengkulu. The social service carried out is education and dissemination of pamphlets about DAGUSIBU. DAGUSIBU is one of the programs pioneered by the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) to increase awareness of use. The purpose of DAGUSIBU (Get, Use, Save, Discard) is to increase public thinking and awareness about the right way to use drugs (Indonesian Pharmacists Association, 2014).

This activity was carried out at 08.00 am with the beginning of morning gymnastics together. This activity is a routine activity carried out by the community at the Armina Sakti Clinic every Friday. After that, it was continued with the distribution of DAGUSIBU brochures and the distribution of milk boxes to the community. Then, the presentation of the material ‘DAGUSIBU’ was carried out, namely (where to get medicine, how to use medicine, how to store medicine, and how to dispose of medicine). And finally, a documentation session was carried out. It is hoped that this activity can continue to run every year because, in addition to strengthening the relationship between lecturers and students, this activity can also expand friendship with the community.
