Pharmacy Students from UNIB Achieve Multiple Awards at 2024 University Student Scientific Week

Pharmacy students from the University of Bengkulu (UNIB) have made a remarkable achievement by winning several awards in the 2024 University Student Scientific Week (Pekan Ilmiah Mahasiswa Universitas Bengkulu – PIM UNIB). A total of four teams from the Bachelor of Pharmacy Program secured top positions in three categories of the Student Creativity Program (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa – PKM), demonstrating their excellence in research, entrepreneurship, and community service.

🥇 1st and 2nd Place in PKM-RE (Research in Exact Sciences)

Two teams won 1st and 2nd place in the PKM-RE category under the guidance of Apt. Septi Wulandari, M.Sc. These achievements highlight the students’ capability to conduct innovative and relevant research in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.

🥇 1st Place in PKM-K (Entrepreneurship)

Another team, also supervised by Apt. Septi Wulandari, M.Sc., achieved 1st place in the PKM-K category with a creative business idea based on health products with real market potential.

🥉 3rd Place in PKM-PM (Community Service)

Under the mentorship of Apt. Yona Harianti Putri, M.Farm., one team of Pharmacy students successfully secured 3rd place in the PKM-PM category. Their community program focused on public health education and had a significant impact on the target audience.

These outstanding accomplishments were warmly welcomed by the academic community of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), particularly the Pharmacy Department. It is hoped that this success will inspire more students to engage in scientific innovation and contribute actively to academic competitions both within and beyond the university.
