ENTREPRENEUR WORKSHOP

The entrepreneur workshop was conducted by The Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with the aim of helping students develop innovative business ideas, improve management and communication skills, and achieve financial independence. This workshop took place in the FMIPA meeting room on September 23, 2023, featuring guest speakers Dr. Ahmad Fauzi and Iful Amri, M.Si, both of whom are young entrepreneurs. The participants of this event were physics students from the 2020-2023 cohorts.

Dr. Ahmad Fauzi is a successful young entrepreneur who has applied the knowledge he gained during his doctoral studies to the chili industry through the Berkah Abadi Jaya Agricultural Cooperative in Batubara Regency, North Sumatra. He discussed how chili farmers are transforming through technology and industrialization. His cooperative has implemented D’Ozone technology for chili processing.
Meanwhile, Iful Amri, M.Si, a young entrepreneur from Jambi, specializes in honey products under the brand name MAHUJA. He shared insights on the business development process and several entrepreneurial funding opportunities that students can pursue.
