General Lecture and Sharing Session “How to Study in Taiwan”

Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Bengkulu has conducted a General Lecture and Sharing Session, “How to Study in Taiwan.” The Keynote Speaker in this activity was Prof. Chun-Chen Yang from the Battery Research Center of Green Energy, Ming Chi University of Technology Taiwan (BRCGE MCUT). Prof. Chun-Chen Yang is the director of the Battery Research Center. He focuses on battery research ranging from Zn-air batteries, Ni-MH batteries, and Li-ion batteries, including LiFePO4, LiFeMnPO4, LiFeMnCoPO4, Li3V2(PO4)3, NCM622, NCM811, NCA cathode materials, Si/Graphene, Si/graphite, Li4Ti5O12 anode materials. He established BRCGE in 2012; and built a Ph. D. Program in Energy and Battery Technologies at BRCGE in 2015.

He began the lecture by introducing the developing battery technology and describing the research results conducted over the past few years. He also delivered research on battery technology that is currently developing in Taiwan. At the end of the sharing session, he conveyed how to continue higher education in Taiwan and how educational facilities are available.
