HIMAFI Holds Laboratory Tour for New Physics Students, Class of 2025
The Physics Student Association (HIMAFI) organized a Laboratory Tour (Tourlab) for new Physics students of the Class of 2025. This activity aimed to introduce laboratory facilities and support students’ adaptation to the academic environment of the Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), University of Bengkulu. This activity was conducted at August, 1st, 2025 in Physics Laboratory.
The Laboratory Tour included visits to various laboratories that support learning and research activities, accompanied by explanations of laboratory functions, major equipment, work regulations, and safety procedures. Through this activity, new students gained an initial understanding of the practical and research activities they will undertake during their studies.
In addition to introducing facilities, the Tourlab also served as a platform to strengthen interaction and build closer relationships between new students, senior students, and HIMAFI administrators. This activity is expected to foster a sense of community, enhance learning motivation, and support the development of a conducive academic atmosphere within the Physics Study Program.
The Physics Study Program expressed its appreciation to the Physics Student Association for organizing this Laboratory Tour. It is hoped that similar activities will continue to be held annually as part of the program’s ongoing efforts to support the mentoring and development of new students.
