PUBLIC LECTURE " INTRODUCTION TO MODERN MARINE SEISMIC SURVEY"

On July 16 2024, a public lecture was held with the theme “Introduction To Modern Marine Seismic Survey” in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Bengkulu University with Mr. Xander, M.Sc., Ph.D from Principal Operations Geophysics and Principal Science expert at Shell Global Solutions International BV in the Hague, Netherlands.
In this public lecture, the material presented was related to how seismic surveys were carried out in the submarine layer. Marine seismic surveys use sound energy to map geological structures under the seabed. The material regarding this public lecture delivered by Mr. Xander, M.Sc., Ph.D is very useful for students of Physics Department.
