Student Creativity Proposal Writing Workshop

On May 19, 2025, the Physics Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Bengkulu, held a Student Creativity Proposal Writing Workshop as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance students’ abilities in preparing proposals for the national-level Student Creativity Program (PKM). The event took place in the seminar room of the Basic Science Laboratory and was attended by dozens of students from various cohorts who had successfully passed the initial proposal selection at the university level.

The workshop featured Isra Amalia, S.Si., a former national-level PKM finalist, as the guest speaker. In her presentation, she provided a comprehensive overview of the different PKM schemes available to students and shared effective strategies and tips for preparing proposals that are eligible for funding from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.

In addition to the lecture session, the workshop included a hands-on component, where students were guided through the process of drafting proposal frameworks based on their initial ideas. Participants also received direct feedback and guidance from the speaker, making the session both interactive and practical.

Through this workshop, the Physics Study Program aims to increase the number of student proposals that succeed in securing national funding, while at the same time fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation among the campus’s younger generation.
