Statistics Study Program Attends FORSTAT National Congress (MUNAS) 2026 in Lombok/ Prodi Statistika Menghadiri Musyawarah Nasional FORSTAT 2026 di Lombok
LOMBOK, April 10, 2026 – The Undergraduate Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Bengkulu, attended the FORSTAT National Congress (MUNAS) 2026, hosted by Universitas Mataram on April 10, 2026, in Lombok. The Universitas Bengkulu delegation was represented by Dr. Pepi Novianti, S.Si., M.Si., as the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Statistics Program, and Dr. Idhia Sriliana, S.Si., M.Si., as the Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Statistics. Their presence reflects Universitas Bengkulu’s active commitment to national forums for the development of statistics education.
The FORSTAT National Congress serves as a strategic forum that brings together representatives of statistics study programs from various universities across Indonesia to discuss the direction of statistics education development, strengthen the FORSTAT organization, and improve the quality of graduates at the national level. The forum covered several key agendas, including discussions on FORSTAT’s work programs, evaluation of organizational activities, and the formulation of strategic policies to advance statistics education in response to developments in data technology.
One of the key outcomes of the FORSTAT National Congress 2026 was the re-election of Dr. Bagus Sartono, M.Si., from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) as Chairman of FORSTAT for the next term, continuing his leadership from the previous period. In addition, a lecturer from the Statistics Program at Universitas Bengkulu, Ramya Rachmawati, Ph.D., was entrusted with the role of Secretary II of FORSTAT, reflecting national recognition of UNIB academics’ contributions.
Through active participation in this event, the Undergraduate Statistics Program at Universitas Bengkulu is expected to further strengthen collaborative networks, enhance the quality of education, and contribute to the advancement of statistical science in Indonesia.
LOMBOK, 10 April 2026 – Program Studi S1 Statistika Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) Universitas Bengkulu menghadiri kegiatan Musyawarah Nasional (MUNAS) FORSTAT 2026 yang diselenggarakan oleh Universitas Mataram pada 10 April 2026 di Lombok. Delegasi Universitas Bengkulu dalam kegiatan ini diwakili oleh Dr. Pepi Novianti, S.Si., M.Si. sebagai Koordinator Program Studi S1 Statistika dan Dr. Idhia Sriliana, S.Si., M.Si. sebagai Koordinator Program Studi S2 Statistika. Kehadiran keduanya menunjukkan komitmen aktif Universitas Bengkulu dalam forum nasional pengembangan pendidikan statistika.
Kegiatan MUNAS FORSTAT merupakan forum strategis yang mempertemukan perwakilan program studi statistika dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia dalam rangka membahas arah pengembangan pendidikan statistika, penguatan organisasi FORSTAT, serta peningkatan kualitas lulusan di tingkat nasional. Dalam forum ini, peserta terlibat dalam berbagai agenda penting, seperti pembahasan program kerja FORSTAT, evaluasi kegiatan organisasi, serta perumusan kebijakan strategis untuk pengembangan pendidikan statistika yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi data.
Salah satu hasil penting dari Musyawarah Nasional FORSTAT 2026 adalah terpilihnya Dr. Bagus Sartono, M.Si. dari Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) sebagai Ketua FORSTAT periode selanjutnya, yang juga merupakan ketua pada periode sebelumnya. Selain itu, dosen Prodi Statistika Universitas Bengkulu, Ramya Rachmawati, Ph.D., dipercaya untuk mengemban amanah sebagai Sekretaris 2 FORSTAT, yang menunjukkan pengakuan terhadap kontribusi akademisi UNIB di tingkat nasional.
Melalui partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan ini, Prodi S1 Statistika Universitas Bengkulu diharapkan dapat terus memperkuat jejaring kerja sama, meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, serta berkontribusi dalam pengembangan ilmu statistika di Indonesia.
