Biology Department, FMIPA UNIB held a general  lecture and signed The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implemetation of Agreement (IA)  with the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Sunan Kalijaga

Biology Department of FMIPA UNIB held a public lecture on Thursday 16th November 2023 located in the main meeting room of Integrated Services Building (Gedung layanan terpadu UNIB) with the distinguish  speaker, Lela Susilawati, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ph.D. which carries the theme “Exploration of Indigenous Microbial Diversity from Frog Skin, Native Indonesian Species and Its Potential in the Agricultural Sector”. She is one of the Biology Lecturer at Faculty of Sciences and Technology, UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This public lecture itself provides information about “the exploration of indigenous microbes from the skin of native Indonesian species of frogs which have various potentials in various fields, including health, industry and agriculture. This public lecture activity was also attended by the dean of FMIPA, Dr, Jarulis, M.Si, lecturers staff and students from the Biology Department, FMIPA UNIB.

At the same time, a Memorandum of Agreement/ Perjanjian Kerjasama (MoA/PKS) contract was also signed between the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Bengkulu University and the Faculty of Science and Technology, State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga. The signing of the MoA contract was carried out by Dr. Jarulis, M.Si as Dean of FMIPA, University of Bengkulu and Dr. Arifah Khusnuryani M.Si as Vice Dean for General Administration, planning and finance, FST, UIN Sunan Kalijaga. It is hoped by the signing of this collaboration will encourage efforts to increase/develop understanding of science; research collaboration by lecturers and students; collaboration in writing research publications; exchange of information and academic reference data; as well as community service and student activities.
