The Internal Quality Assurance/Audit Mutu Internal (AMI) 2023 Visitation for Biology Master Program  

The Internal Quality Assurance (Audit Mutu Internal/AMI) for the Master Study Program of Biology, Faculty of mathematics and natural Sciences (FMIPA) UNIB was successfully conducted on tuesday, October 15, 2024. The audit is part of the university’s continuous quality assurance efforts to maintain and improve academic standards across its programs. This internal audit reflects the university’s commitment to providing top-quality education and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Two auditors, Dr. Rini Indriani., SE, M.Si. AK  and  and Oktoviani  S.Farm, Apt, M.Farm, conducted the audit and evaluated various aspects of the program’s academic and administrative performance. The team of Master of Biology study program was also attended by the Coordinator of the Biology Master’s Study Program,  Dr. Risky Hadi Wibowo, M.Si, Prof. Dr. Jarulis M.Si, Meliya Wati S.Si, M.Si, Head of the Biology Department, Dr. Sipriyadi M.Si and graduate students as well. The assessment process included a thorough review of the curriculum, teaching and learning materials, student services, faculty performance, and the overall alignment of the program with national and institutional quality standards.

 

The data reported in AMI 2024 is the result of “Tridharma” activities in the Biology master’s (S2) study program in 2023. The Biology Master’s Study Program reported that 45 indicator targets had been completed out of 69 indicator targets. Some AMI targets focus on undergraduate and vocational study programs, so they cannot be taken by postgraduate study programs. Based on the results of auditor visitation, Master study program of Biology FMIPA UNIB obtained “good” Score results from the 2023 data reported.

The results of this audit will enhance the quality of the Master’s Study Program of Biology, ensuring that it continues to meet the needs of students and stakeholders while adhering to the latest standards in higher education.
