Students and lecturers of Biology department, FMIPA UNIB joined INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FUNDAMENTAL AND APPLIED BIOLOGY (ICOFAB), University of ANDALAS, in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, 17th July 2024.
Four students (2 students are graduate students, they are Adpraja Mahmuda, S.Si, Muhammad Aldiansyah Karisma, S.Si, Aurel Hanidyah Putri and Paskah Elita Putri Sigiro undergraduate student) and 1 lecturer of Biology Master study program, Dr. Jarulis, S.Si., M.Si and lecturer of undergraduate Biology Santi Nurul Kamilah, S.Si., M.Si. attended the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FUNDAMENTAL AND APPLIED BIOLOGY (ICOFAB), located at the Convention Hall UNAND, West Sumatra at 17th July 2024. This activity provides a lot of knowledge and greatly increases students’ academic capacity with the aim of supporting the Green Economy Toward Golder Era.
The demands of education in the Industry 4.0 era require improving students soft skills and hard skills. One of the activities that can encourage these abilities is participating in international seminar activities held both within the country and abroad. This international seminar activity is carried out as a medium to increase students insight and communication skills as well as opportunities to build networks both among students and with other parties with long-term benefits, namely producing graduates who quickly get good positions in the world of work which directly represents their level of income and well-being.
