Visiting Professor from University of Malaya, Prof. Dr. Rosli Bin Ramli talked about “Conservation of Biology” Course  in  the Biology Visiting Class

Prof. Dr. Rosli Bin Ramli as the visiting professor in Biology Department, FMIPA UNIB talked and shared his expert about Conservation Biology in front of graduate and undergraduate students. This event is one of several activities on the World Class Professor program series held by Biology Department, FMIPA UNIB. It took a place on 18th December 2023, started at 8.30-10.00 am, located in Common Class Room (CCR) of  Integrated Services Hall (Gedung layanan Terpadu UNIB).

He talked about the concept of Conservation biology. Biology concervation is a mission-oriented science that focuses on how to protect and restore biodiversity, or the diversity of life on Earth. Like medical research, conservation biology deals with issues where quick action is critical and the consequences of failure are great. By this short course, it is hoped that students can understand about the importancy of biology conservation thus seeks to protect life’s variety at all levels of biological organization.
