Professor Inaguration Ceremony 2025

Universitas Bengkulu has once again achieved an academic milestone with the inauguration of Prof. Dr. Arif Ismul Hadi, S.Si., M.Si as a Full Professor in the field of Geophysics Disaster Risk Management and Natural Resource Exploration. The inauguration ceremony was held solemnly on April 24, 2025, at the Multipurpose Building (GSG) of Universitas Bengkulu, attended by university leaders, academic staff, and invited guests from various institutions.

Prof. Dr. Arif Ismul Hadi is a Full Professor at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Bengkulu. He has long been engaged in research and development in geophysical disaster science and natural resource exploration. In his inaugural scientific speech, he emphasized the importance of geophysical approaches in disaster risk mitigation and sustainable management of natural resources, especially in disaster-prone regions like Indonesia.
With this inauguration, Prof. Arif Ismul Hadi becomes one of the distinguished Professors at FMIPA, expected to strengthen Universitas Bengkulu’s role in advancing science, applied research, and meaningful contributions to society. The entire academic community of FMIPA and Universitas Bengkulu extends their heartfelt congratulations and appreciation for this achievement, with hopes that more Professors will emerge to further elevate the quality of higher education in Indonesia.
