
Physics Study Program Students Represent University of Bengkulu at the 38th PIMNAS 2025
Students from the Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), University of Bengkulu achieved a proud accomplishment by successfully competing in the 38th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) 2025, the most prestigious national scientific event for university students in Indonesia.
PIMNAS, organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology through Belmawa, is the culmination of the Student Creativity Program (PKM). Only selected teams that pass the funding, monitoring, and evaluation stages at the national level are eligible to participate in this event.
In 2025, two teams from the Physics Study Program qualified to compete at PIMNAS, making them the sole representatives of the University of Bengkulu among 420 teams from universities across Indonesia. The first team, led by Maura Alya et al., competed in the PKM-Research (PKM-RE) scheme under the supervision of Prof. Ashar Muda Lubis, Ph.D. The second team, led by Aqnaela Ratu et al., participated in the PKM-Futuristic Ideas (PKM-GFT) scheme under the supervision of Dr. Elfi Yuliza.
The 38th PIMNAS was held at Hasanuddin University from November 23 to 28, 2025. This achievement highlights the excellence, innovation, and research competitiveness of Physics Study Program students at the national level and reflects the program’s strong commitment to fostering student creativity and scientific excellence.
