
FMIPA University of Bengkulu Graduates 337 Students in September 2025 Graduation Ceremony
Bengkulu – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at the University of Bengkulu held its 66th graduation ceremony on September 4, 2025, at the Campus IV Auditorium in Padang Harapan. A total of 337 students from various academic levels were officially graduated during the event.
The ceremony was led by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dr. Sal Prima Yudha, S.Si., M.Si.. Also in attendance were the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the Vice Dean for General and Financial Affairs, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, and Cooperation, as well as the Head of the Senate, Heads of Departments, Secretaries of Departments, and all study program coordinators within FMIPA.
Top Graduates and Academic Achievements
The graduation ceremony highlighted the academic achievements of its students.
Raul Fadillon from the Biology Bachelor’s program was recognized as the top graduate with an impressive GPA of 3.95. The youngest graduate,
Indri Anggraini, from the Chemistry bachelor’s program, was also celebrated for completing her studies at a young age.
Of the total graduates, 18 bachelor’s students and 49 vocational students achieved “Pujian” (cum laude) status. The majority of S1 and vocational students, 87.90% and 70.42% respectively, graduated with a “Sangat Memuaskan” (very satisfactory) predicate. Notably, all 11 Master’s degree students graduated with a “Sangat Memuaskan” predicate.
A Foundation for the Golden Generation
The event featured a scientific oration by Neng Kurniati, S.ST., S.KM., M.Tr.Keb, with the topic “Optimizing the Role of Midwifery in Children’s Growth and Development: The Foundation for the 2025 Golden Generation.” This speech emphasized the crucial role of graduates in shaping a bright future for the nation.
On average, bachelor’s students completed their studies in 4 years and 18 days, with an average GPA of 3.46. Vocational students completed their studies in 2 years, 11 months, and 15 days, with an average GPA of 3.60. The average time for completing a thesis was 13 months, a thesis (skripsi) was 8 months, and a final project (LTA) was 6 months.
